Our tours are designed to lead you on your dream trip of a lifetime. We do our best to make sure that each tour provides you with the best opportunity to view a rich variety of species within a specified time frame. Rather than viewing birds quickly and simply moving on, we take time to drink in the experience of seeing each new species. There are often excellent opportunities for you to obtain photographs as well. Although we welcome anyone with an interest in nature, our tours may not be a good fit for the serious lister.

Having completed the necessary scouting beforehand, we want you to sit back and enjoy the full adventure of seeing new and exotic birds in their own native habitat!

Tour Requirements for participants

Our tours are conducted with an easy pace built in. However participants are required to have the mobility to travel a casual 2 miles per day on relatively even surfaces. Please remember that some tours cover great distances which may involve several hours of travel on secondary roads.  Although we use only comfortable air conditioned vehicles there will be times when natural elements like heat and flies are unavoidable, particularly when in the field. Participants who are not easily bothered by weather changes and lack of convenience are the best fit for our tours.  Touring a new land to discover new bird species is fantastic adventure!

On the practical side we do everything possible to make your trip safe and enjoyable. We carry emergency satelite phones on board of our vehicles and our staff are trained in CPR. We use only modern, late model vehicles with your safety in mind. We provide you with comfortable accommodation ranging from basic/practical to top notch and deluxe. While we eat most meals at local establishments we often prepare home cooked meals for a change of pace.

We keep the number of participants small, with a maximum of 8 people selected per tour. This not only provides more personal guidance from our tour leaders, it also helps facilitate a more personal atmosphere. Touring with others is a fantastic way to share adventures and make friendships that can last a lifetime.
